A mediation \ arbitration session may be scheduled by the parties, with mutual consent, on any day or half day that is open on the calendar. To reserve a dispute resolution session, select the day and time period desired. When you click on the desired month and day, a session reservation form will appear on the screen. Complete the form in its entirety before clicking the "submit" button. (Note incomplete forms will not be accepted.)

The information requested on the form is required, as it allows us to schedule the desired time, making it uniquely identifiable from any other matter on our calendar, even if other matters involving the same counsel or parties are scheduled for alternative dates. Once the reservation form has been completed and submitted, the parties will receive an electronically generated confirmation notice by return e-mail.

The parties may specify, with mutual consent, a location for the session to be conducted, provided the setting selected is suitable for the professional administration of the proceedings and possess at a minimum; a quiet well lighted and ventilated atmosphere, with operational heating and air conditioning, has a minimum of two rooms capable of accommodating the parties in reasonable comfort, with privacy guaranteed, in a handicapped accessible building, equipped with handicapped accessible restroom facilities. If the parties do not specify a location for the session an appropriate location will be arranged. If a charge is incurred for the premises, it is billed to the parties.

A formal acceptance of appointment will be sent to the parties via e-mail within two business days. If such notice is not received on schedule, please contact our office by telephone to assure that we have properly scheduled the mediation or arbitration session.

Any materials the parties wish to provide for review before the session may be delivered to 2740 Rio Grande NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87104, or faxed to 505-243-7947, no less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled mediation \ arbitration. Delivery of materials can be accomplished via the U.S. Mail, Parcel Service, or Courier.

A session may be rescheduled or canceled, unless it is controlled by court order, with the mutual consent of the parties. At present there is no charge the first time the session is cancelled, but if it is rescheduled and cancelled a second time without a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours notice, a cancellation fee of $100.00 per party is charged. Cancellation of a reserved session cannot be accomplished on our web-site. You must write, fax, telephone or email our office to cancel or reschedule a reserved session.

Mediation or Arbitration services can be scheduled out of the Albuquerque area. There is a space provided on the session reservation form identifying where the session is to be held. For sessions scheduled outside the Albuquerque area, please contact our office to discuss such arrangements, once a reserved session confirmation has been received.

Payment for mediation services are due in full within ten (10) days of invoice. Fees for arbitration service are payable in full before a decision is rendered, unless alternative arrangements are approved prior to commencing the arbitration process.

Decent conduct is expected of the parties at all time and attorneys are responsible for the conduct of their clients. Lude, vulgar or profane language will not be tolerated nor will physical outbursts or threats of violence.
